How the data here is verified

species names, zones and behaviour come from Frozen Way's own Sota7 Field Survey Logs and devlogs on Steam; anything else carries the name of the forum thread, developer reply or video it came from, with a date. If two sources disagree, both are printed.

How often it is re-checked

Steam achievement rates and review counts are re-read every week, and each Frozen Way hotfix is read against the survival, base and known-issues pages within two days of it going up.

What this site will not publish

we do not rank animals or plants in a tier list and we do not guess hybrid recipes. We cannot play-test, so if no source names a pairing, it is not on this site.
